Hello Sir,

While automating system using excel or google sheet there is always a delay of 5-10 minutes, is there any way to reduce this delay or you also use like this?
I am trying to automate many things, I am currently using excel with developer options, I want to ask you if you use excel or visual basic combination for your system or only visual basics because programming in visual basics is not easy (for me).

I am using Microsoft excel only not Google Sheet because I think there you can not run macros or may be I am wrong because I never use it.
Once I sent some files to my friend with button but on Google Sheet It was not active.

Writing Macros in VBA is very easy, not so hard but you just need to know basic of programming(not necessary VBA) and off Couse visualising the action in prospect of computer(complier).

I am using lot of Macros but I never face any difficulty for updating. With the help of macros life become very easy. I am having macros for everything. In my excel sheets I never use to do manual entries.

Excel is a base which helps us do analysis.
VBA helps us to customise Excel beyond it’s regular features.

I have also observed delay in retrieving data, When getting data from google Finance is more slow than NSE india site. I am trying with Excel VBA which suddenly crashes while pulling data from website is a common setback.

I do not know Data pulling is legal or illegal…

Since real time data is really costly affair, its generally used by FIIs, DIIs and brokers as Nitin sir said in his video, other option is to get APK Licensed key for website data from Broker, as some members are getting data by paying monthly nominal fees, this was also said by sir in one of his videos.

let us design a profitable system, test for 1 market cycle and keep looking for better options…

Dear DohaRec,

On NSE Website data is at least 3 Min delayed but I am importing in my excel sheet and never get any trouble. It is working perfectly fine since long time.

But for getting live data I am using my broker’s software to see data in Excel Sheet Live. With this live data I am curtly analysing Open Interest Changes Live. There are many more things can be done.

I need to ask Bhatia Ji, whether I can disclose the name of my broker or not.

I don’t want to advertise for anything but I like my broker’s facilities a lot and using this DEMAT since 2003 and they are Improving system every now and then.

Excel itself is built on VBA.
Excel has feature to extract data from any website and present it on the sheet. Here you can set the time interval for updation.
If you are not a programmer or have little knowledge then it will be difficult for you to automate this accurately.
Google doc also has excellent scripting options but again one must know programming

The feed is updated every 2-3 mins..You can update your sheets every 1 min to reduce delay else nothing much can be done except buying real time feeds.

Yes it is integrated in my IV system…You have to write a code..I took help of my friend to write this code.
