KeymasterThanks to Nitin sir,
Hi Friends! The Purpose to create this New Topic is to make available all relevant information at one place for people of unclear understanding like me. Please help …
I am collecting FII data since 1 Jan2019, I have watched all the videos but unable to understand the steps to interlink and analyze the daily data…
The resources for FII Data i have gathered is NSE as Nitin sir states in most of his videos:
1. FII DII Trading Activity
https://www.nseindia.com/products/content/equities/equities/fii_dii_market_today.htm
As In video Nitin sir stated to study Buy and net value…
since every day has different patterns so Here I take 3 day Average of BUY, Sell and Net separately and compare with current value. Is this right way ? Please correct me.2.FII Derivative Stats
In one video Nitin sir said FII Buying Stock futures they are hedging there position Market is likely to go Up in short term there is no clarity about long term.
Here Clarity of When To Trade Where is required
can anyone help me to understand how to read and relate these data?3. Participant wise OI
How to compare the positions of FII with derivative positions?
Do i need to consider total contracts? at one place in forum sir said rollover positions should also be considered
4. participant wise Volume
Link for 2-4 is : https://www.nseindia.com/products/content/derivatives/equities/archieve_fo.htm
5. I also gather NSDL Fortnightly FPI Reports to track sector investments.Sir please write some article or refer some information resource…
Friends please put how you analyse FII data….

KeymasterTo
doharec
fii data can give u a bias of their current trend but we should check/analysis 360 degree
>>check fii are net buyer/seller
>>if they long/short in index/stock future the coi will change
>>if they create speculative position they also hedge their position using option for that reason implied volatility change..
>>in this case traded value will increase but delivery % decrease
required back test because all stock have some spacial character
(example:-before sharp fall in yesbank coi change drastically and that time iv also change same way)
hope it can give you some knowledge/hint
Thank You -
