The investment landscape will change drastically after the current crisis. The three key pillars of future investments will be Diversification, Algorithms, and Artificial Intelligence. The key difference between the Algo and Artificial Intelligence is that an algorithm defines the process through which a decision is made, and AI uses training data to make such a decision
In the future, the Countries will be more protectionist in their approach i.e. independent of each other. This tectonic shift will be due to their bad experience with other countries during the time of need. Therefore, it is critical to diversify your portfolio before these changes come into effect and take advantage. You should stay ahead and stay profitable.
As you know that I keep investing in International Markets as I keep highlighting in my videos. As I shared in one of the live streamings in Jan’19 that I am invested in the Chinese market. It delivered the highest return of around 40% in a year. The viewers keep asking me about the platforms that help in international investments. Recently, I came across a platform called Kristal and they are registered with SEBI.
The USP of this platform is the diversification of investments in international markets of your choice. After the current crisis, the investors will be more bullish on the technology and healthcare sector. You can invest in world-class technology and healthcare companies.
Secondly, you can diversify your investment in countries that will flourish under the protectionist regime. My take is the two superpowers
Another important point is that we might not be very well versed with the portfolio allocation. Therefore, we should take advantage of Algo or Artificial intelligence. These algorithms suggest the portfolio based on risk profile and current market situation i.e. as i mentioned current focus is technology and healthcare
To summarize, I would like to highlight that diversification is very important and world markets will not be linked to each other in future as they were in past or the concept of the global economy will fade away
Secondly, the human mind is biased in its approach, therefore, Algorithms or Artificial Intelligence is gaining its foothold in the investment decisions of big investors. You know that “smart money” makes money in the market as they take advantage of algorithms and AI.
