If i bought 3000 shares of yesbank in CNC, but close the trade before 3:30pm…so those 3000 shares which were marked for delivery will be removed in EOD data.
TO NITIN SIR: Suppose that in NIFTY50, RELIANCE weightage is 10%. IF we keep all other stocks at the same price and move reliance up by 1% using its stock futures only, NIFTY will move up by 10 points. Obviously, the price of NIFTY FUT will also increase whether we buy futures or not. (I THINK SO)
Think of a reverse scenario, IF WE SELL NIFTY FUTURES IN SIGNIFICANT QUANTITY, AND SOMEHOW KEEP OTHER 49 STOCKS AT SAME PRICE, WILL RELIANCE GO DOWN EVEN IF WE “DONT” SELL IT IN EITHER CASH OR FUTURES?
Last live streaming I didn’t understand this so please answer.
Warm Regards.May 27, 2019 at 10:51 AM in reply to: REGARDING FII DATA OF INDEX OPTIONS AND INDEX FUTURES. #131903
In yesterday’s live streaming, Sir told that kisi ek site ko pakad lo aur ussi ka data use karo. I prefer only nse website.
I am not talking solely about election results. When the market crashed from 11800 mark, Nitin sir already told that long puts are created by FIIs at 10700. Soon after the news comes of USA China trade war aggression and market opens gap down! I am asking what would happen if exactly opposite news came, like all trade disputes between USA and CHINA are resolved!
QUE> Will BIG PLAYERS keep pushing the market down going against all the positive sentiments?? Or will they first cover their long puts, then create bullish positions and then take the market up?
YES. YOU ARE RIGHT ACCORDING TO ME. but i am ready to be corrected if i am wrong else nitin sir will close this topic. Thank you.
This reply has been accepted as the best answer.
If person A is 100 contract call long, B is 100 call short, C is 1 call long and D is 1 call short. Now when A & B close their position with each other, the volume will be 100. But since C&D still have open positions, so OI will be 75 (1 contract=75 shares). So volume=100 and OI=75.
SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF NEEDED.
@shekhat.hitesh If a big player offloads his 1000 contracts but if those are purchased by new players (whether RT or big player), then OI will not change. I want to clarify if volume will change or not and if it will change then by how much? Anyone who knows this concept 100% please answer by giving an example.
If person A is 1 contract call long, and person B is 1 contract call short, and they both close their position with each other, then volume will be 1. If big player offloads his 1000 contracts call long, then two things can happen: (a) If fresh buying orders are triggered, then volume and OI will not change much. (b) If large stop-loss orders are hit then volume change will be large and OI will also decrease.
Please correct if I have wrongly analysed above two scenarios for the query. When Nitin sir gave alert at 10:48 am that a big player has offloaded, I saw on 1 minute chart there was a HUGE SPIKE IN VOLUME BAR along with decrease in premium. Then I got confused that why we talk about less volume when discussing about big players…?
Yes sir I recently watched the swing trading excel sheet video and have a similar query as 1.
From where you came to know iv is a ratio?
Sir told in his NIFTY VIEW that prima facie, market is in a declining phase.
PALESHWAR BRO google excel mein try karke dekh lo ek bar
I have one more question about correlation: I am observing charts and option chain of some nifty stocks every day. since last many days, I am recording the iv of both sides on EOD basis. now I have observed that both cal iv and put iv is increasing every day in most stocks (like tata motors). while its price is coming down, so correlation on both sides is strongly negative. what to do in such cases, take no trade, or wait for confirmation from other setups?
