I am starting this query, so that we all may learn how to analyse gap up or gap down, in my basic understanding I analyse last 45 minutes Option Chain Data before closing, but that tells me of next day’s morning move, nothing about Gaps, please if anyone can help.
If you use Bollinger band along with keltner channel , when Bollinger bands try to touch boundaries of keltnar channel sure shot break out or break down happen, work on most of time frames.
Gap up or gap down happens due to news driven sentiments. Also you need to keep an eye on sgx nifty and world markets.But in the end technical analysis is supreme. We have seen recently even after big gap up market closed in red.@ nitin sir please Correct me if I am wrong.
