Free Option Chain Data is the most frequently asked queries. The reason being, the two biggest problems faced by a trader are (a) Delayed option chain data on the exchange website and (b) The Option Greeks data.

Normally, the option chain data is updated in 3-4 mins on the exchange website. Due to high volatility and this delay, you may miss an opportunity to enter a trade or book the profit. Many viewers asked me to share a source from where they can check the free option chain data on a near real-time basis.

Personally, When i need to check the near real-time Option Chain data or Option Greeks data, I check it on my broker’s mobile app i.e. Upstox mobile app. The best part is that for the premium and open interest you can also check the change in the %. whereas this data is not available on the exchange website.

The spot price is mentioned in the option chain on the Upstox mobile app. Otherwise, you need to keep track of spot price to check ITM, OTM and ATM strike price. Lastly, the screen is clutter-free and you can easily do your analysis by comparing OI, premium, IV and strike price without any distraction.

Now coming to the 2nd problem, you can check the Option Greeks values. It can help you to take right and profitable trade as I explained on my Option Greeks video. The best part is that you can also check the Option Greeks value of the particular strike prices.

Another feature that I liked the most is that you can set an alert i.e. when the price is more or less than a particular value. This feature is especially very useful for profit booking or entry. If you are a working professional or businessman and cannot sit in front of the screen during market hours, you can use this alert feature for your investments or trading.

Last but not least, you can check complete details of a stock or index from a single mobile app.
