as per stock future analysis if price increase and oi increase means trend continued for a given expiry.but suppose i observed that price increase oi decrease but that month but oi increase for the next month contract at the expiry at that time what will be conclusion?
My confusion is that whether they close position for the current month as the expiry of current month is coming and they shifted their position in next month or it is the symptom of trend reversal.(especially this confusion is created at the time of 2 to 3 days before a expiry).
