KeymasterHi Harsh,
Stop loss hunting is a best method used by smart money to clear their journey for being more profitable. The actual meaning of the term ‘stoploss’ is within. It says minimize your loss, means retail investors considered loss making, hence they exiting with loss only. If you wanted to minimize the risk of losing all money then depending upon the volatility decide how much hit you can take to remain in trade. Once you’re out then you’ll book loss. The limit for individual stocks will be different based on its volatility. -

Stop loss hunting is not done everyday…
generally they do stop loss hunting to increase liquidity of stock/index or earn money.
if your stop loss is very basic like previous day high/low etc then there is a high chance of trigger/hit stoploss..no matter which broke you use.
always remember you stoploss in your mind not in your system.
Nitin Sir already publish some video related to this topic.

KeymasterI would like to add one more point. I know that NB sir has made so many videos on how stop loss hunting is done, how our stop loss is being hit. But how to be so sure that the movement is stop loss hunting or it is a real move ?

KeymasterTake the example of today’s trade. How we understand that some big player is there to hunt our stoploss. At the strike price of 12000 PE (Nifty) Change in OI was too high but Volume was less and as discussed by Nitin sir in his videos and live streaming about importance of Change in OI and Volume, same thing happened today and you can see the sudden fall of nifty 50 from 12000 to 11850. I could identify it clearly and made a good profit by buying PE.
Thank you. -

Keymaster@Rakesh89 Are you trying to say that short positions were created by big player @12000 Strike price and that’s how you predicted fall of market from there?

ACCORDING TO MY OBSERVATION WHEN STOP LOSS HUNTING PROCESS GOING ON THEN THERE IS NO SUCH CHANGE IN OPTION CHAIN DATA..IF BOTH PREMIUM DECAY AND IV INDICATE SAME DIRECTION BUT MARKET GOES ITS OPPOSITE THEN ITS HIGH CHANCE OF STOP LOSS HUNTING..
