1>if a stock gap up from your buying target price then wait ..watch carefully ATP(average traded price) if it available near ATP then you can buy..
2>if you want to enter the stock but stock is not near atp then wait for last minute(3:29pm) and place a order near atp..if you are lucky then your order will be successful.
3>last option :- u can enter but then u must adjust your quantity because your stop loss also increased..you can reduce risk by reducing quantity..

At 1527Hrs. a position was created at strike price 10000 with IV of 176.Can we conclude that somebody booked profit and expecting market to remain rangebound for tomorrow 11500 11550.

Hi Arijit,

If you are considering only these data points then I don’t think so you can conclude anything here. Unwinding in option chain doesn’t always indicate a buy signal, there are so many other data points to consider like volume, IV for overall analysis. Secondly, with volume you should also check delivery % and the price action.
For swing trading I will suggest to check the trading set up’s Nitin sir has suggested like divergence, trend lines, fibonacci, support resistance, Price action, Stochastic RSI and Heinkin ashi. According to me there is no buy signal at this point in time on any setup. May be this view will change tomorrow.

So, in a nutshell, we need to analyse the IV of ATM call and ATM Put and also the NetChange of Call and Put.
Am I right in my understanding?

And for Nifty Intraday positions, how to calculate the smart money positions? Is it related to Change in OI and Volume?
