Narendra Modi – Journey From CM To PM

From Last 1 week, the most discussed topic on almost all News Sites is “Narendra Modi”. I have read all the articles on Narendra Modi on all major News Sites & Blogs. Honestly my unbiased conclusion is

“Narendra Modi is Loved by People and Most Hated by Media & Politicians”

On all the news sites, under comments section approx 95% comments are in favor of “Making Narendra Modi as next Prime Minister of India”…For the 2nd time in my life, i have seen such a massive public mobilization for any leader after Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee…Though some readers might be thinking that i have personal bias for Narendra Modi but i can assure its not true, fact of matter is  i am quite astonished to observe massive support for Narendra Modi among General Public & also came to know in detail the kind of work he is doing in Gujarat or few might suspect that comments on news site are engineered but fact of matter is that you can’t manipulate 100% online space. He has massive following of 7.19 Lac on Twitter and 5.38 Lac likes on facebook despite being CM of just 1 of 28 states. Which another CM in India has such a massive support.

Let me clarify this public support is not becoz of his Hindutva image but everywhere he is termed as “Development Man of Gujarat” and seen as future “Development Man of India”. Besides development, he is always with cause of common people. It was quite amazing to read that anyone in Gujarat can call CM’s hotline no. to register complaint and prompt action is taken by CM office. This was endorsed across News Sites. Many people also mentioned that how CM is helping poor people by providing them basic tools and equipment kits for daily earning e.g. Cobbler’s received complete kit to earn their livelihood.

He has set up a fund for welfare of people and all the personal gifts received by CM are being auctioned.  All the money collected from auction is used for people’s welfare. Infact on one of the blog it was mentioned that some amount is collected to attend any Private Business Inauguration and entire amount is being deposited in people welfare fund. It was also quite surprising to know that where most of the developed states like Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra are going through severe Power Crisis whereas Gujarat is only state in India, which has Surplus Power.

Financial Times, World’s leading finance newspaper lauds decade of development in Gujarat under leadership of Modi and infact world’s most prestigious TIME magazine featured him on its Cover Page. USA Congress has called him “The King of Governance”. Times Magazine mentioned “Modi means Business”.

It is quite sad to see that World has moved on from 2002 to 2012 & praising Mr Modi for his exceptional Governance skills & development agenda whereas our Pseudo Secular Politicians like Nitish Kumar are pushing India back in 2002. If Nitish Kumar is so concerned about his Secular Credentials then he would have resigned in 2002 as Railway Minister from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Govt. It is upto people to decide that whether they want to push India back in 2002 or would like to see country governed not on basis of vote bank politics but on Good Governance, Development & Welfare of State.

Another question is why politicians hate Modi, There are 3 simple reasons behind the same

1. People hate that person from whom they have maximum threat to their position or future aspiration. Similarly Nitish Kumar & other pseudo secularist like Mulayam Singh Yadav are projecting themselves as most secular face so that they can drop hat in ring for post of PM in 2014 & only threat visible to him as of date is Narendra Modi. There is no leader of his stature as on date. Its quite sad that politicians with 20-25 seats are aspiring to become PM.

2. It is in the interest of politicians to keep India a backward state and they fear that if Backward India, which is their captive vote bank will get taste of development then they will never vote for these so called secular politicians therefore they stand united against Narendra Modi, who according to World Media is “Development Man of India”.

3. Indian Media is always very biased towards ruling political party & secondly most of the news is paid news in terms of projecting some individuals/political party in positive light and others in poor light…Just to give e.g. the day Petrol Prices were increased by 7 Rs. It was shocking that many News Channels not reported this News in Headlines and it was one of news piece towards the end whereas this should have been Main Headlines becoz it was going to impact entire country.

India is democratic country and i would not like to pass any conclusion but as i narrated story of Indian Cockroaches in my post “Satyamev Jayate – An Honest Attempt”. The moral of same story applies here also.

I would also like to add that as per Indian law, person is innocent till proven guilty and going by this logic no court has convicted Mr Narendra Modi till date & he is innocent till proven guilty. Its better no one should pass their own opinion as judgement against person who is doing good for the country. If we declare someone culprit based on perception then every Indian is culprit in one form or another.

Lastly, i would like to quote from Mr Narendra Modi’s Google plus Page

“Only those who keep walking get sweet returns…..

Look at the Sun’s Perseverance –

Dynamic and always on the move, never dormant….hence keep moving”

I will prefer Mr Modi as PM for the Development of my country and for good Governance which every citizen of this country aspire for.

Very well written- brief and to the point. The main point is that somebody is coming on the plank of development and on the base of proven track record and experience. What have Rahul Gandhi and Kejriwal achieved in comparison? Modi’s success reminds of the competence of Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri
